National Gypsum
In 2016 Insul-Tech Inc. was tasked with insulating new exterior ductwork and filter housing at one of Baltimore, MD oldest (1946) operational plants, National Gypsum. Before beginning any insulation, safety plans and an intrusive scaffold systems needed to be engineered, approved & assembeled onsite. Insul-Tech Inc. worked with our scaffolding partner to design a scaffold system that would allow efficient insulating in a tough environment filled with hard to reach locations.
Once scaffold was erected the project had a four (4) week timeframe to be completed. Insul-Tech Inc. worked with National Gypsum to ensure their shutdown time was minimized so that everything could be insulated safely and they could get their plant back running at full capacity.
The exterior ductwork & filter housing were insulated with mineral wool & embossed metal jacketing.
